If you were also one to stress about gym closures this year, many of us could relate.
Best advice? Don’t give up, seek advice, and keep doing your best with what you have, without being hard on yourself.
Read Sandy’s story below:
“In 2019, I started my fitness journey with Lux fit. I wanted to lose extra weight that I was carrying after having my daughter. They were great and within months I lost 10 points and up with the lean muscle, I stayed consistent and then covid happened. As of March 2020, I gained 20 pounds and was at my worst. Having gyms shut down, it took a toll on my mental health. Even though I had equipment at home, it just wasn’t the same. I felt sluggish, tired, just unmotivated to do anything so I ran to food for my own emotional comfort. I realized one day that I needed to get back into working out just for my own mental sake, I contacted Luxfit and they welcomed me with open arms.
I learned how to eat intuitively and I am gaining confidence back. The most important thing you can do for yourself as a mom is self-care and investing in yourself. I have never felt so confident in myself and motivated to workout because I am seeing my close fit right and my minds clear. It’s been a great 6 weeks with Luxfit, they are turning my fitness journey into something exciting and fun! They give you motivating workouts to do at home, but the changes and overall health is unreal. On 1 month I was able to drop 10 pounds, with still being able to eat things I enjoy. Most of all, it’s helping with my own mental health.
You have to discipline yourself and when that is accomplished, everything follows. It’s a trajectory and it will be conquered. Slow and steady.”
Thanks Sandy for sharing this story, we’re proud of your accomplishments and the motivation you’ve gotten back!
