Did you know tart cherries have a super high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory content?!

They are an amazing fruit then to add to a post workout shake or have as a treat as it helps with muscle recovery especially in endurance exercises such as a running!

People with osteoarthritis also benefit as it helps to relieve them from chronic joint pain and stiffness.

Check out the recipe below for these super muffins: 


  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder 

  • 4 egg whites

  • 1/4 cup mashed banana 

  • 1/4 cup quick oats 

  • 1 tbsp coconut flour 

  • 2 packets of stevia 

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder 

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 

  • 1/2 cup pitted tart cherries 

Blend: protein powder, egg whites, banana, oats, coconut flour, stevia, baking powder and cocoa powder together, then mix cherries. Pour into 4 silicone muffin cups for mini muffins 

Preheat oven to 325 and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean!
